U08

The U8 program gives 6 and 7-year-old skiers an introduction to racing skills through the FUNdamentals of skiing (Alpine Canada Skier Development). With a focus on further developing skiing skills and an introduction of racing skills, the U8 program is great for strong young skiers. This program follows the Alpine Canada Strive program.

Participants should be graduates of the Chicopee Snow School at an Intermediate-3 (I3) level with the ability to independently ski any hill at Chicopee with confidence, and independently ride all chairlifts.

Per Alpine Ontario regulations, program participants must be a Chicopee Member for the applicable race season and are required to wear a hard eared helmet and use poles.

Please Note: The U8 race program is by invitation only. Interested participants are required to contact the Race Office (racing@chicopee.ca) prior to registering to schedule a time in-season to have your child evaluated by a coach.

NOTE: All Sales are Final.

• If Chicopee cancels your weekly lesson, you will be notified, and the lesson program will be extended, and run on the same day and time. [For the 2026-2027 season there are two possible extensions: Week 10: MAR 6 to 12, 2027 and/or Week 11: MAR 13 to 19, 2027].
• If Chicopee cannot deliver your 9-week lesson program within the season (until MAR 21, 2027), you will be notified, and the cancelled lesson will be credited (prorated value) to your account. This credit may be used to purchase lift tickets, daily rentals, membership, passes, cards, camps and lessons (excludes: retail, food and beverage items).
